At the bi-monthly Policy monetary policy review meeting, RBI left interest rates unchanged at 7.5%. They also decided to leave the SLR(Statutory Liquidity ratio) & CRR(Cash Reserve Ratio) constant at 21.5% and 4%.
The banking concern of (RBI) these days determined to go away interest rates unchanged once it met for a bi-monthly review, when effecting 2 out-of-cycle rate cuts earlier this year for 25 points (0.25 percent) every.
Therefore RBI‘s headline Repo Rate, the rate at which the RBI lends to commercial banks, continues to stand at 7.5 percent.
