Benchmark Indices fell more than one percent intraday amid global weakness.Investors maintained cautious stance ahead of Sunday’s referendum in Italy & US non-farm payrolls data due later today. Sensex has lost 329 points at 26230 and Nifty dropped down 106 points at 8086. All the global indices closed down in the negative zone.
About 865 shares advanced, 1799 shares declined and 128 shares remained unchanged throughout.
Expert Views: According to experts, the emerging markets are unlikely to do well in the near-term owing to a stronger dollar and rise in US bond yields. Indian Market is going to suffer in the near term and the Nifty will surely hit the Brexit low in the coming days.
